Public Space Summit

SFPA’s 2nd Annual Partner Conference A Big Success!

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, over 150 SFPA Partners, groups, neighborhood associations, and park and public space enthusiasts joined us for a full day of skill building, knowledge sharing, and networking at the beautiful and historic City Club in downtown San Francisco. Guest speakers included Ron Finley (“The Gangsta Gardener”), Phil Ginsburg (GM of SF Rec & Park), and Walter Hood (Founder of Hood Design Studio), as well as 6 panel sessions with over a dozen panel speakers.

A big “thank you” to this year’s conference sponsors:

  • SF Community Challenge Grant Program
  • SF Recreation & Parks Department
  • SF Public Utilities Commission
  • Kelly Nice (Parks Alliance Board Member)
  • CMG Landscape Architecture
  • Cole Hardware
  • Lyngso Garden Materials, Inc.

We’ve included links to the conference agenda, online survey, photos, slides and handouts you can view and/or download.
