Interested in $5,000 to bring free events to your community? Great news – the ShineOn SF Action Awards grant program is back, and you’re invited to apply!

The Action Awards empower any SF-based individual, community group, or small business to host free events – think exercise classes, movie nights, and clean up days – that bring public spaces to life. Grantees receive up to $5,000 and technical support to make sure the event is as brilliant as the vision.

The ShineOn Action Assembly is an opportunity to come together and meet fellow community builders. We’ll chat about your ideas, get to know each other, hear from current ShineOn Action Award recipients on what’s worked for them, and get into details about the next round of grants. Light snacks and drinks will be provided!

We recommend taking BART or Muni as there is limited street parking. There are, however, a few paid parking lots a few blocks from the event.
