Come join Garden for the Environment to learn how to make your very own compost! The backbone of every healthy garden, compost improves all soil types and can be the difference between success and failure with many plants.

In this class, you will learn how to make compost in your backyard, and be introduced to the worms that make their own special fertilizer. Additionally, you will learn what you can do to improve your garden and prevent organic waste from ending up in the landfill!

About The SFPA 

The SFPA or San Francisco Parks Alliance is a nonprofit organization that has been working with the community for nearly 50 years to help encourage our neighbors to get out and make the most of their public spaces. We focus on collaborating with our fellow San Franciscans and various partners around the Bay Area to champion beautification projects, public space initiatives, and engagement through a variety of free weekly and monthly events.
