China Basin Park

China Basin Park is one of San Francisco’s newest parks and uniquely features a sandy beach.

China Basin Park is on the opposite side of McCovey Cove from Oracle Park. You can get a great view of the stands from the top of China Basin Park (but you won’t see the on-field action). The Bay Trail bike path cuts along the edge of the park. Aside from a grassy lawn and a shady grove with benches, the park features a sandy beach dotted with Adirondack chairs.
