This is where I go when I want the feel the wind, and the climb up the trails leads to the piece of the rock that I feel is the geographic center of San Francisco. An unobstructed, panoramic view of the City unfolds. – L Jasmine Kim

Corona Heights Park is certainly known for its natural beauty, but did you know that in the 1800s it was the site of the infamous Gray Brothers brick mining quarry? Many of the park’s steep ridges, as well as the tennis courts, playing fields, and Randall Museum, are located on former quarry sites.
Corona Heights Park has a community group called Friends of Corona Heights. Learn more about how to get involved with this space by visiting their webpage.
San Francisco’s public spaces need your help. Your donation can help us transform more spaces like this one into clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces. Please help make San Francisco into the city we all want it to be.
