Between a playground, clubhouse, skate park, soccer and baseball fields, community garden, bocce ball and pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, Crocker Amazon is packed to the brim with park amenities that’ll keep you busy all day.
You have to check out the pupusa stand near the soccer fields, Pupuseria El Golazo! –Isa
This land has a long history of serving the community. Originally established as a reservoir in 1934, it has since been converted into a park, a hospital, housing for veterans, and then a park again. More recently, it served as a COVID-19 testing site.
In 2001, the SF Parks Alliance, Crocker Amazon, and other SF parks rallied together to honor those who lost their lives on September 11th by planting thousands of flower bulbs across the city.
