Our Work

Our Work

San Francisco Parks Alliance partners with communities and public agencies to create, sustain, and improve parks and public spaces that welcome and belong to everyone.

Our work across San Francisco’s many parks and public spaces is vast and varied, but can best be broken out into four categories:

  • Initiatives & Projects
  • Programming & Events
  • Community Building
  • Advocacy Efforts

Learn more about our work within each of these categories below, and discover how our efforts are shaping the future of San Francisco’s diverse parks and public spaces.

Initiatives & Projects

SF Parks Alliance partners with neighbors, community partners, and public agencies to make permanent improvements across every corner of San Francisco. Our staff works hard to ensure that each of these projects is shaped by extensive community engagement and sustained through long-term maintenance plans.

India Basin Waterfront Park

Once complete, it will combine the renovated India Basin Shoreline Park and the 900 Innes property into one grand 10-acre waterfront park, complete with a new playground, amphitheater, and more.
