The Leland Avenue Rain Gardens Revival, a project of the Visitacion Valley Greenway GOAL Program, is a recipient of the fourth round of the ShineOn Action Awards program. Through recurrent work days, this project will restore the rain gardens on the Leland Avenue Commercial Corridor from their current state of being overgrown, rock filled weed beds to visually appealing green spaces. Join us at Hans Schiller Plaza for light refreshments before we head off to start weeding the rain gardens. All tools provided, just bring yourself!
