Rainwater Harvesting at Garden for the Environment

With a few months still to go in San Francisco’s rainy season, come learn how you can easily capture rainwater to use in your garden or home.

In this class, you’ll learn what to consider and where to start for systems as simple as a single barrel under a downspout, or as complicated as an indoor plumbing system for toilet flushing.

Keep precious rainwater out of the sewer and keep money in your pocket by harvesting the water that lands on your roof!

About SF Parks Alliance

The San Francisco Parks Alliance is a nonprofit organization that has been working with the community for nearly 50 years to help encourage our neighbors to get out and make the most of their public spaces. We focus on collaborating with our fellow San Franciscans and various partners around the Bay Area to champion beautification projects, public space initiatives, and engagement through a variety of free weekly and monthly events.
