Burnside Mural+
Burnside Mural+ is a resident-led initiative to create a visual representation of the colorful history of Glen Park that includes both a large mural and a tiled stairway.
The mural was installed in 2022 with the help of Twin Walls Mural Company, and the tiled stairway was completed in October, 2024 with Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher, the tile artists behind some of SF’s most well-known tiled stairways.

We love how the group supporting Burnside Mural+ has quickly moved to create beautiful public art that celebrates the history of their neighborhood and surrounding community. The mural and stairway are visually dazzling and educational for countless walkers along the Glen Park Greenway and the Crosstown Trail!
