Buena Vista Neighborhood Association
Buena Vista Neighborhood Association (BVNA) is one of the larger neighborhood organizations in San Francisco, with over 400 current Members.
Buena Vista Park, located in the Upper Haight, is one of the oldest parks in San Francisco. A fiscally sponsored SF Parks Alliance Partner since 2004, the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association (BVNA) serves residents and property owners in the area generally bordered by Oak Street on the north, Divisadero/Castro Streets on the east, 6th Street, Upper States, Levant, Lower Terrace and Saturn Streets to Roosevelt Way and 17th Street to the south, and Ashbury Street on the west.
BVNA cooperates with and supports several more-local level neighborhood groups within its overall area. The group works to maintain, enhance and improve the park, seeks out bond funding, applies for grants and works to identify and leverage corporate sponsorship to support this neighborhood green space.
