Mural

A mural can add beauty to an otherwise empty street, communicating to the surrounding community that people care about the space.

San Francisco is home to an incredibly diverse array of murals painted by famous artists, alongside those created by local residents. Murals improve the appearance and experience in our public spaces and serve as a platform for artists to grow their audience.

For all murals, the property owner must consent to installation. Additional considerations before implementing a mural project include: insurance / hold harmless release, art copyright authorization / release, community outreach, materials, and long term maintenance responsibilities.
