Site Unseen was a public art initiative, sponsored by the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District, that brought art and programming to alleys in downtown San Francisco. Sites Unseen partnered with established and emerging cultural institutions flanking Annie, Clementina, Jessie East, Lapu Lapu, Minna, Natoma, and Shipley streets, to bring dynamic installations, performances and interactive exhibits outdoors. Be a vocal advocate at your favorite San Francisco institutions – inspire your favorite museum, theatre or gallery to think beyond their walls, and encourage them to bring cultural and artistic programming outdoors, engaging the public in new locations.
