It was a wet and windy start to the year in parks and public spaces. There was extensive damage and flooding across the city, but Golden Gate Park’s bison found time to frolic with some Christmas trees, a college student started a park poetry project, rabbit statues popped up across the city, and Bayview Park got a major shout out.

Bayview Park features 44 acres of incredible views and a serene quality likely due to the unmarked road leading to the park. Despite attempts to demolish it over the years, this space is finally starting to get the care and attention it deserves from park stewards and goers alike.
