Persia Triangle
In accordance with mandates from the San Francisco Department of Public Health, SF Parks Alliance will be suspending daily operations at Persia Triangle. We look forward to resuming our regularly scheduled activities after that date, and hope to see you then!
Project Plan
Surrounded by local businesses, transit stops, and community institutions, Persia Triangle is the “Heart of the Excelsior”, located at the intersection of Mission Street, Ocean Avenue, and Persia Avenue. We are working closely with the “Friends of Persia Triangle and EAG” to activate the Triangle once a month, on every third Sunday, with big celebrations of the Excelsior’s culture and creativity.
Amenities
Starting December 2019, Persia Triangle will be activated every third Sunday with arts & crafts, games, music, and more!
What is the Citywide Public Space Initiative?
The City of San Francisco, through the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, and in partnership with the San Francisco Parks Alliance, is piloting a new program that helps communities improve their public spaces. The program will supplement the City’s critical cleaning and safety services with regular activation, beautification projects, and community engagement.
