Please join Friends of Alta Plaza Park for a “Cleaning and Greening” workday on Saturday, December 7th.

Help SFRPD gardeners maintain the park, while also meeting your neighbors! Volunteers will install new plantings, lay down mulch, weed, sweep, edge and more.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be served before getting your assignments. Please wear layered clothing, a sun hat and closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. We look forward to seeing you there!

The SFPA or San Francisco Parks Alliance is a nonprofit organization that has been working with the community for nearly 50 years to help encourage our neighbors to get out and make the most of their public spaces. We focus on collaborating with our fellow San Franciscans and various partners around the Bay Area to champion beautification projects, public space initiatives, and engagement through a variety of free weekly and monthly events.
