Join the Friends of Alta Plaza Park and SF Rec & Park gardeners in beautifying one of The City’s most stunning and well-loved neighborhood parks.  Volunteer gardening tasks include plant restoration and maintenance, invasive weeds eradication, mulching, and litter abatement.  Tools and gloves are provided. 

Please wear masks, closed-toed shoes, long pants and layers. The event will occur rain or shine. Meet at the Friedman Family Children’s Playground, most closely accessible from the Jackson/Scott and Clay/Scott entrances.

Expanding our park activities, we will partner with RefuseRefuse and TogetherSF who are coordinating a neighborhood clean-up with DPW to include the Fillmore Street Commercial Corridor.  https://refuserefusesf.org/events
