In collaboration with various organizations and public agencies, SF Parks Alliance is revamping efforts around the Blue Greenway: an initiative that will elevate and connect thirteen miles worth of parks and public spaces along SF’s southeastern waterfront.
Potrero Hill neighbors are invited to participate in a series of in-person community meetings taking place from May 2 through May 6. Meeting participants will have a chance to participate in a pilot project, as part of the larger Blue Greenway community building vision, to help map out important pathways and destinations in the neighborhood.
The ultimate vision is to install way-finding signage at each site, establish green corridors in the neighborhood, and make it easier for Blue Greenway visitors to see and support smaller green spaces sites in Potrero Hill. See a full list of meeting dates and locations below (masks are recommended but not required):
  • Monday, May 2 from 2-3PM at the SF Public Library, Potrero Branch [Potrero Room]
  • Tuesday, May 3 from 10:30-11:30am at the SF Public Library, Potrero Branch [Potrero Room]
  • Wednesday, May 4 from 4-5pm at Harmonic Brewing (attendees must be 21+ years old)
  • Thursday, May 5 from 10:30-11:30am at the SF Public Library, Potrero Branch [Potrero Room]
  • Friday, May 6 from 4-5pm at Harmonic Brewing (attendees must be 21+ years old)
If you’re interested in joining one of the community meetings, please RSVP in advance here. Because participants will be providing both their time and insight, they will be honored with a $50 reimbursement for their involvement.
