Nature in the City’s “Youth in Action” program presents the Green Hairstreak Corridor Bioblitz!

What is a bioblitz?A bioblitz records as many living species as possible in a specific area and time. Join Nature in the City’s Youth in Action community for a bioblitz in the Green Hairstreak Corridor, which spans multiple natural spaces and is home to the Green Hairstreak butterfly and more than 1,000 plants and animals. Meet at Golden Gate Heights Park before we embark together!

Please wear sunscreen, comfortable walking clothes and shoes, and bring a personal water bottle. Downloading iNaturalist and/or Seek before the event will be helpful! Snacks will be provided during the Bioblitz and there will be a time to come together as a group to discuss our findings at the end of the Bioblitz.
