To celebrate three years of the Crosstown Trail, the Crosstown Trail is hosting a Tour de Trail on June 4 & 5, 2022. Join them as they explore the Trail and the urban open spaces it connects, from Candlestick Point to Lands End. They’ve even thrown in some excursions into neighboring areas.

Sunday, 9 a.m.: Walk the Crosstown Trail South to North. Meet at Sunrise Point in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, the starting point for our 17-mile walk to Lands End Lookout Visitor Center. Walkers can proceed at the moderate pace of the leader or go at their own pace and bail anywhere they choose. Leader: Bob Siegel

Sunday, 9 a.m.: Run the Crosstown Trail South to North. Meet at Sunrise Point in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, the starting point for our 17-mile run. Runners should carry their own hydration and nutrition supplies, or plan for brief stops along the route. Leader: Mike Grade

Sunday, 9 a.m.: Bicycle the Trail from South to North. Meet at Sunrise Point in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. We’ll ride 17 miles across San Francisco, from the Visitacion Valley Greenway, Laguna Honda Community Trails, and Golden Gate Heights to Lands End Lookout Visitors Center. Leader: Matthew Blain

Sunday, 9:30 a.m.: Walk the OMI. Meet at the Blue House Cafe, 302 Randolph, to explore the Ocean View-Merced Heights-Ingleside neighborhood (aka the OMI) on this curated walk. Plan on about a 3-mile walk with a few hills that will reward you with some of the best secret views in the city. Leader: Johanna Lopez Miyaki

Sunday, 10 a.m.: Walk the Crosstown Trail Sections 3, 4, and 5. Meet at the Forest Hill MUNI Metro station to walk sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Crosstown Trail. Includes the Green Hairstreak urban wildlife corridor, Golden Gate Heights’ tiled stairways, and the Lobos Creek Valley Trail, finishing at the Lands End Lookout Visitor Center. Leader: Amy Kaeser
