Daggett Park is a small but beautiful slice of urban green space between the Dogpatch and Potrero Hill neighborhoods of San Francisco.

Once a brownfield site, the park has since been transformed into a multi-use space complete with lawns, concrete furniture, and a dog park.

At just an acre, the park is a mid-block passageway that includes native landscaping and an olive grove garden. CMG Landscape Architecture took the lead on designing this park, and their extensive community engagement process led to the creation of three major park components – a dog park, a lawn for events and recreation, and two play sculptures: the Tilted Lawn and the Penta-Step.

More on the genesis of the project can be found here.

We are at the beginning of forming a Friends of Daggett Park group. If you would like to participate in programming ideation, stewardship, and maintenance of the park, then please save the date for the inaugural community meeting on March 9, 2022 at 5:30pm.

Reach out to partners@sfparksalliance.org with questions and to get further involved.

SF Parks Alliance is excited about the potential of a new public green space that is, currently, a blank canvas for community-directed events and projects that speak to those living near Daggett Park.
