Join us on November 9th to learn how to take full advantage of the unique San Francisco gardening climate, where you can grow your own fruits and vegetables year-round. This workshop will focus on taking advantage of the upcoming rainy season by planting cold-hardy crops such as garlic, peas, and edible perennials.

You will also receive a full tour of what’s growing at the Garden for the Environment. Bring questions and they’ll do their best to answer them so that you can reap a bountiful harvest from your own garden!

About The SFPA

The SFPA or San Francisco Parks Alliance is a nonprofit organization that has been working with the community for nearly 50 years to help encourage our neighbors to get out and make the most of their public spaces. We focus on collaborating with our fellow San Franciscans and various partners around the Bay Area to champion beautification projects, public space initiatives, and engagement through a variety of free weekly and monthly events.

Want to stay up to date on the latest events and projects from SFPA? Head on over to our Facebook and Instagram, or subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when we post new events or get involved with public spaces in your neighborhood.
