FAQs

SF Parks Alliance is not requiring proof of vaccination from attendees of the 2024 Public Space Summit. The Summit will take place in both indoor and outdoor settings. We will have masks on site if you’d like to wear one during indoor sessions, but if you’re feeling under the weather we encourage you to stay home.
Throughout the day, SF Parks Alliance will provide all attendees with breakfast, coffee, boxed lunches, and snacks. In the later afternoon we will have a “schmoozing hour” with hors devours and wine/beer. All participants are asked to bring a water bottle to help minimize waste.

All groups within SF Parks Alliance’s Community Partner Network qualify for two (2) free tickets to the Public Space Summit. Additional ticketing tier information is available on the ticketing page.

Please reach out to partners@sfparksalliance.org with any questions around tickets and/or pricing.

SF Parks Alliance believes that everyone has something to learn and contribute at our annual Public Space Summit. Whether you are an active volunteer in our city’s parks, a long-time community organizer who is looking to connect with like-minded folks, or an individual who is looking for inspiration and tips to engage with your neighbors, this Summit will provide the tools and connections to create lasting change in your community.

Both attendees and speakers at the Summit come from a diversity of personal and professional backgrounds, and are eager to connect at this conference and beyond.

Currently, SF Parks Alliance does not have plans for a virtual component to the 2024 Summit.

Attendees are welcome to join the Summit late or leave early, if needed.

We cannot offer a reduced ticket price for attending only part of the conference, but we will have SF Parks Alliance staff stationed outside of the venue for the entirety of the day to welcome guests who may be joining late.

The Southeast Community Center in India Basin is ADA accessible. Please reach out to us at partners@sfparksalliance.org with any additional accessibility questions or concerns.

We’re excited to talk with potential sponsors for the Public Space Summit, as the event is a great opportunity for brands and organizations to get in front of a community of active park improvers, volunteers, and users.

Please reach out to Steve Fredericks, Director of Development, at SteveF@sfparksalliance.org to learn more about potential sponsorship opportunities.

The ‘Project’ track of sessions revolves around skills and ideas that you can apply directly to your project, while the ‘General’ track of sessions is more focused on case studies, panels, and talks that aim to inspire and offer opportunities to ask questions and connect with peers.
The SE PUC Community Center is served by the Muni T Line and 15 Bus.
There are bike racks on site as well as a BayWheels station in front of the Community Center on Evans.
There is street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood.
